Real People. Real Craftsmanship.
Most roofing companies are built on trucks and tools. JRH was built on a phone call. Joel needed people he could trust with his name, so he called family. Now three of them run every project from the first handshake to the final walkthrough — no sales reps, no subcontractors, no runaround. You talk to the people who own the company because they're the same ones on the roof.
Meet the Team Behind 600+ Projects
Not a corporate org chart. Three family members who answer their own phones and put their names on every contract.

Joel
CEO & Founder
Joel built his first house at 26 and never stopped. Twenty-five years, 50+ custom homes, and three states later, he founded JRH Construction on a principle he learned the hard way: every roof protects somebody's livelihood. Rutgers-educated, fluent in Spanish, and licensed in Texas, Louisiana, and Michigan, Joel still walks every completed job and personally signs off before the crew leaves. When he says your roof is done right, his name is on it.

Jonathan
Chief Operating Officer
Started working job sites as a teenager in California. By 22 he was running commercial crews. When Joel needed someone to build the Louisiana branch from scratch, Jonathan moved across the country and did it. Now he runs every field operation in DFW — from 200,000 sqft warehouse re-roofs off I-35 to luxury estates in Southlake. Your project manager, your quality inspector, and the guy who doesn't leave until it's right.

Landry
Chief Marketing Officer
Dropped everything in Houston the night Joel called and drove to DFW with nothing but a truck. Built the entire client-facing side of JRH from scratch — marketing, technology, lead generation, the systems that keep the phone ringing and the crews booked solid. Obsessed with making a small family company compete with the big dogs, and winning. First one you talk to when you reach out, last one checking in after the roof is done.

How JRH Got Started
JRH is the initials of a family. Joel is the founder — veteran, master roofer, the one who still walks every completed job. His nephews Landry and Jonathan run operations day-to-day, managing crews and staying in contact with every client through the life of the project. They started this company on a handshake agreement with each other: treat every roof like it's covering your own family.
If you've been burned before — a storm chaser who grabbed your deposit and was gone in a week, a national company that sent a different crew lead every time and couldn't answer a question — that's exactly the gap JRH was built to fill. Joel brought military-grade discipline to a trade that often runs loose, and the whole company runs the same way. Their names are on the trucks and the contracts. They answer their own phones.
That's why the same number gets called by a facility director running a data center off I-35, a property manager overseeing 200 units in Denton, and a homeowner in Southlake who just had hail go through. With $10M+ in bonding capacity, GAF Master Elite certification, and Owens Corning Platinum Preferred status, JRH carries the credentials for any job size — and a family who will still be here when the next storm comes through.

What We Stand For
Not a mission statement. Not a slogan. This is what Landry and Jonathan hold themselves to on every job, and what Joel built the company around.
We Measure Twice, Cut Once
Joel has 25 years and 50+ custom builds behind him. He studied economics at Rutgers, built luxury homes in Pennsylvania, launched commercial operations in Louisiana, and brought all of it to DFW. Every seam, every flashing, every detail done right the first time — because he learned the hard way that shortcuts cost more than they save.
We Tell You What Your Roof Actually Needs
Not what makes us the most money. If your roof has five good years left, we'll say that out loud and walk away. Straight answers, no padding, no pressure — that's the only way we operate.
We Call You Back in 5 Minutes
Landry or Jonathan picks up. If they're on a roof, you hear back in under 5 minutes — not 5 hours, not the next day. Most roofs get done in 1-2 days. You're not sitting around wondering what's happening.
We Fly a Drone Before We Quote
We send a drone up, not a salesman. You get high-res photos of your roof, a written report with our honest take, and a real number. No surprises on the invoice.
We Take On What Other Roofers Won't
Data centers off the I-35 corridor, hospital campuses, apartment complexes in Southlake, 400-unit complexes in Grand Prairie — we have the crew size, equipment, and $10M+ in bonding to handle it all.
We Keep Everyone Safe
OSHA compliant, fully insured, workers' comp on every employee. If something goes wrong on your property, you're covered. We've never had a job site incident that wasn't handled the right way.
Call Us. We Actually Answer.
Five minutes on the phone is all it takes to know what's going on with your roof. Whether you manage a commercial portfolio in Fort Worth or just want to know if last week's storm did anything to your Frisco home — Joel, Landry, or Jonathan will pick up and give it to you straight.
